Metricus uses Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) functionalities to provide a sophisticated IT Performance Management solution to the IT management domain. Using Metricus, you can manage the performance of your IT organization and present various stakeholders with information that is tailored for them and allows them to make better IT decisions. |
- Metricus is built on the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform and uses SQL Server 2008 (Database, Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services) and SharePoint 2010.
- Customers using Metricus in either the Service-as-a-Software (SaaS) or onsite deployment can use Visual Studio 2008 to design and configure integration tasks (SQL Server Integration Services - SSIS), cubes (SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services - SSAS), and reports (SQL Server Reporting Services - SSRS). Reports can also be created/modified using Report Builder (versions 2.0 and 3.0). Note: Reporting services is implemented using SharePoint Integrated mode. This means that reports can be managed by end users who do not have access to Visual Studio 2008.
