Information Security (protecting customer data, maintaining a secure environment, and managing policies for user access) is a top priority for Metricus, and we have adopted and extended industry best-practice security measures and policies to protect your information assets. The net result: We will ensure that your data is managed securely, and you can focus on the things that are important to your business.
Here is a summary of the measures that are in place from a security perspective
  • Secure datacenter: We work with leading service providers with quality and well-audited security measures in place. The service providers we work with are SAS70 type 2 certified, have ISO/IEC 27001-based policies in place, and have well-managed access policies.
  • Application security: Metricus utilizes Microsoft’s built-in security features (from SharePoint and SQL server). This includes application-connection-string encryption, information rights management, and single sign-on.
  • System security: A strong defense layer prevents unauthorized access. Metricus is protected with several firewalls that are continuously monitored.
  • Database security: Utilizing the capabilities of SQL Server technologies, Metricus provides each customer with a dedicated database within SQL Server. Authentication from application instances is controlled via dedicated customer passwords.
  • Disaster recovery: In the event of a failure, customer data can be restored from the previous day. Automatic back-up procedures are in place to get customers up and running again as soon as possible.
